About us
A clearer way to plan a deck
DeckBuildingServices.net helps homeowners in our service areas plan, build, replace and repair decks — starting with honest answers about coverage, materials and scope.
What we do
Deck projects, explained and delivered
A deck is one of the few structures most homeowners ever commission. It carries real loads, it's exposed to the weather every day, and it's often several feet off the ground. Getting it right depends on decisions made long before the first board goes down.
This site exists to make those decisions easier: which service fits your situation, which material suits your climate and maintenance tolerance, what moves a project's scope, and whether your address is in our service area. When you're ready, give us a call — one call is all it takes to start.

How we work
Principles we hold to
Transparent coverage
We list every one of our 1,270 eligible ZIP codes. If an address isn't covered, the site says so plainly.
Useful before it's sold
Our guides explain warning signs, materials, process and scope factors so homeowners can make informed decisions.
Structure first
Footings, framing, ledger flashing and railings come before finishes — that's what makes a deck safe.
No invented claims
No fake reviews, ratings or badges. Images on this site are illustrative and are labeled that way.
How our guidance is written
Research, sources and review
Our service and repair guides are written around how decks are actually built and how they fail: footings, framing, ledger attachment and flashing, connectors, guards and stairs. Where building codes are mentioned, we name the model code (such as the International Residential Code) and point you to your local building department, because local amendments decide what applies to your address.
Every community page uses public data rather than generic filler: housing age and type from the U.S. Census Bureau, county boundaries from Census relationship files, and climate figures from NOAA's 1991–2020 climate normals at the nearest reporting station. Each page shows its sources.
Pages are reviewed when coverage, data or guidance changes; the review date is shown on each guide.

What we won't publish
No invented reviews, ratings, awards, licenses, years in business or prices. Project images are illustrative, not photos of specific customer projects. Deck Building Services serves only the ZIP codes listed on our service-area pages.
